Session 9/10

Transcript

Get yourself comfortable and find yourself a relaxed position. Let your body begin to soften. Take a deep breath in and as you exhale, let the tension start to drift away. Take slow, calming breaths in and out through your nose. Take a scan of your whole body. noticing how you feel today. Bring awareness to any areas of tension and concentrate on relaxing them with your exhalation. Feel your body becoming more and more relaxed. slowly releasing tension, letting go of stress and feeling completely at peace.

We’re going to begin to visualize protective light surrounding us and our baby. You will probably continue to feel more and more relaxed as you do this. Imagine that there is a protective white light shining around your entire body. It almost appears as if you are glowing. This light can keep you safe from stress, tension and worries. It will protect you from stressful environments and will keep the energy and opinions of others away from you and your baby. Visualize your entire body surrounded by light. Feel how relaxed, calm and secure you feel within this protective glowing light. The light is like a shield, deflecting anything that is not good. It is like a bubble that can protect you and allow you to feel calm and relaxed, no matter what is going on around you.

Imagine being completely surrounded by protective light. Visualize the light from the crown of your head all the way down to your feet. Bring your awareness to your feet, feeling how relaxed and maybe even tingling they feel. Notice that your feet are surrounded by this protective white light. So are your ankles and notice as they become soft and relaxed. Feel your lower legs relaxing surrounded by this light. Soft and heavy. Your upper legs are relaxed and surrounded by the light to warm and relaxed. Turn your attention now to your hands. Feel the relaxation there as your hands become very relaxed, soft, heavy. Tired, as they too are surrounded by this light. Become aware of your wrists, lower arms, and upper arms all surrounded by this protective white light. Feel the relaxation in the center of your body. Feeling feel it within your belly and where your baby rests completely protected from the outside world within your womb. Feel this relaxed state flowing outward, out to your back your chest your hips. Feel the relaxation feeling your body. Notice that your entire body is enclosed inside this protective bubble of white light.

Allow the relaxation to continue to flow through your body upward to your neck and shoulders all the way to the top of your head. Feel your face soften and relax. Feel that protective light surrounding your head and face surrounding your whole body. You are surrounded from head to toe in this protective life shielded from any worries or stress that is around you. Relax here basking in this protective light. Notice that there might still be some areas in your body whether thoughts and fears and emotions of your own mind rest. Imagine these areas of tension as darkness. Visualize the dark tension being drawn out of your body by this protective light. Feel the fears stress and anxiety leaving your body and mind as they are drawn out by this white light. The protective light is like a muscle magnet, drawing out the tension out of your body and away. Once the tension has left your body, it is repelled by the light protecting you from anything that does not serve you.

The light also works as a magnet for good, attracting relaxation to you. Feel that protective light drawing away tension and bringing relaxation, shielding and protecting you while helping you to feel even more relaxed. Enjoy this feeling of being safe and protected by your shield of light. Rest in this space of calm relaxation, peace. Know that you can call on this protective white light whenever you are in a stressful situation or a feeling internal anxiety. The white light will help you to repel the stress that is going on around you and help you to release the anxiety or fears that you are feeling.

It is now time to start returning from our meditation. focus again on your breathing, taking a deep breath in and a deep exhalation now Now turn your attention to the body reawakening. gently move your body a little feeling your muscles waking up taking gentle movements if that feels good.

Allow your mind to become fully awake and alert but keep the relaxed feeling about you. continue breathing long and deep. allowing yourself to finish our meditation when you are ready.

Enjoy this feeling of being safe and protected by your shield of light. Rest in this space of calm relaxation, peace.
