- Accepting Change Meditation 04
Session 4/10
Transcript
Hello and welcome to this meditation. My name is Alamay and I’ll be guiding you through this guided meditation VR session. Here we are exploring the simplicity of the moment, the simplicity of who you are, as you experience life. It is okay if you get distracted during this, or perhaps confused, as anything that arises is welcome.
Wherever you are, relax back into the surface you are resting on. Or if you are sitting up, allow your spine to comfortably straighten.
Allow your breaths to reach a comfortable rhythm for you. allow your body to relax as you enjoy the beautiful scenery and music surrounding you.
Everything is good here. Everything is swell. As you relax here, just imagine you let things go as they pass through your awareness. Perhaps a sensation in your body comes up. It just flows through you and is released.
Perhaps the thought arises, it just flows through you and is released.
As you breathe, let the experience of your breath just flow through you. You witness it and let it go. What if you could move through life from this place, experiencing things fully, but letting them go after not holding on to anything in particular, fully experiencing and fully releasing being present with your experience and releasing it just as easily as an exhalation.
When you are ready, bring your attention back into your body. And notice any differences and how you feel.
Perhaps it feels the same. Any observation is welcome. Simplicity is simple, but sometimes it can feel complicated. If you ever get confused or frustrated, or feel anything towards this experience, just allow it.
Give yourself permission to be where you are. And when you’re ready, releasing that as well. It’s kind of like allowing experiences to enter your awareness and then letting them leave as well.
If you try to hold on to the experience, no new ones can enter. So it’s just letting things affect you and then releasing them. Try it for yourself throughout the day. Just allowing and releasing. Allowing and releasing and see what you experience.
Thank you for listening and have a lovely day.
